Programs and Service Area
PCS serves the seven counties of the southern
panhandle of western Nebraska. Some programs offer services in additional areas
including the northern panhandle and extreme southwestern Nebraska. PCS offers
programs in five key areas:
Child Development:
The mission of all child development programs is
to support and strengthen individuals, families, and communities by providing
opportunities for growth for families with young children. Programs offered in
child development include:

Community Services:
This program offers a broad range of services
that emphasize individual strengths and encourage the development of
self-sufficiency. The programs are family centered and eligible participation is
